Multi-Attribute Decision-Making Methods in Additive Manufacturing: The State of the Art

چکیده
Multi-attribute decision-making (MADM) refers to making preference decisions via assessing a finite number of pre-specified alternatives under multiple and usually conflicting attributes. Many problems in the field additive manufacturing (AM) are essentially MADM or can be converted into problems. Recently, variety methods have been applied solve AM. This generates series interesting questions: What is general trend this research topic from perspective published articles every year? Which journals most on topic? cited? AM? main strengths weaknesses each method used? used one field? specific AM tackled using methods? issues existing for that need addressed future studies? To approach these questions, review presented paper. Firstly, an overview was carried out based methods. A statistical analysis then made aspects journal articles, methods, solved After that, application discussed. Finally, findings summarised.

Maintenance has been acknowledged by industrial management as a significant influencing factor of plant performance. Effective plant maintenance can be realized by developing a proper maintenance strategy. However, selecting an appropriate maintenance strategy is difficult because maintenance is a non-repetitive task such as production activity. Maintenance also does not leave a consistent trac...
متن کاملQualitative Decision Methods for Multi-Attribute Decision Making
The fundamental problem underlying all multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) problems is that of dominance between any two alternatives: ‘Given two alternatives A and B, each described by a set criteria, is A preferred to B with respect to a set of decision maker (DM) preferences over the criteria?’. Depending on the application in which MCDA is performed, the alternatives may represent strat...
